Noriel Dominguez

The past few weeks I've been able to make the rounds across Houston to many different programs beaming with talent and thought I should drop some recruiting notes on here with some intel I was able to gather. My first stop was to the 5A D2 defending state champions Richmond Randle who will look to reload and take another crack at vying for back-to-back titles. The headliner here is certainly 2027 RB Landen Williams-Callis who was the State Championship Game MVP and has established himself firmly in the conversation for best running back in the country. The things he's able to do on the football field are incredible and a perfect example is the video below taken by ABC 13's Joe Gleason. He told me after practice he plans on making a visit to College Station this summer and named A&M, Texas, and Oklahoma as schools that are standing out. When analyzing the 2027 class and how it might shake out for the Aggies, I think it's important to note that Williams-Callis has relationships with Boobie Feaster and Peyton Houston from playing 7 on 7 and attending All-Star games growing up. Before transferring to Randle, Dominguez was able to garner significant recruiting interest and a big senior year could see his stock rise by the time we get to December. My second stop was to CE King on the northeast side of Houston which is absolutely filled top to bottom with talented players. Their 2028 class is loaded and it wouldn't surprise me to see multiple of those players end up with A&M offers. ATH Dillon Mitchell has taken the track world by storm this year finishing fourth in the UIL State Meet last weekend with a time of 10.17, but has gotten all the way down to 10.07 this season. Yes, that's a freshman running that fast. I think it'll be interesting to see how his athletic career turns out and I can't imagine what time he'll be running once he reaches his senior year. Many programs across the SEC, including Texas A&M, have taken notice and offered him a scholarship. I'm excited to see what he looks like in pads competing in one of the hardest districts in the state. He also comes from an Aggie family with both of parents being alumni and his dad having played on the football team. 2027 WR Braylon Lane was a name that was passed along to me during my visit and after seeing him do a little bit of drill work, I can see why some in the program are buzzing about his potential. The Panthers have a lot of talent in the backfield, so Sanders often shared carries, but his impressive frame and willingness to fight for every yard is very evident when you turn on the tape.https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19900618/673fbe6123225e78477edf5aNext up was Iowa Colony, which is an area of Greater Houston that I think is really about to blow up in the next five years and home to Aggie target WR Jayden Warren. Brauny talked extensively about Warren and what makes him such an intriguing prospect on Recruiting Country this week which I encourage everyone to watch back. He had a really impressive playoff run with the Pioneers last season that saw him have a big impact against some of the best teams in that region and it seems that since then, he has put on muscle and gotten faster. The arrow is pointing up for him and I think it will be interesting to see how Coach Wiggins handles the 2026 WR class with three already committed and multiple other targets still in play. After setting two 5A State records in the 4x100m (39.74) and 4x200m (1:23.34) at the UIL State Meet, Warren dropped a top six of TCU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, SMU, Houston, and Nebraska. Stop #4 was Shadow Creek which seemingly is a factory for division one football players. 2027 CB Brandon Sherrard has made waves the past few weeks picking up offers left and right and even had a day last week where three SEC programs offered in the same day. He stood out to me in their playoff matchup with Fort Bend Elkins last year and had an impressive season on the track running a 10.7 split in the 4x100m. He has a long way to go in terms of being an elite receiver prospect, but he has the intangibles and pedigree that I would buy stock early on him. He's got a massive wingspan and is even a playmaker on the basketball court. Pearland DL DeMarco Jenkins is another name in that area that has seen his recruitment take off. Defensive coordinator Jay Bateman extended an offer on Jan. 30th and Jenkins has since made his first visit to Aggieland for a spring practice. Offensive line coach Adam Cushing was also in attendance for practice and went in-home with Morcho and his family last night. As our recruiting team has talked about extensively, Morcho is a top priority for the Aggie staff and there seems to be some mutual interest on that front. His OV is set for the weekend of June 13th-15th and he told me after practice he plans on committing after his OVs during the summer. 2028 LB Brayden Bonik is a name to keep in mind as well. He got moved up to varsity as a freshman a few games into the season, which is very notable with the talent in that program. Right now he holds offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Florida State, Houston, Kansas State, Maryland, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, SMU, South Carolina, UNLV, Washington State.
