Landon Rink on campus
CyFair DL and key Texas A&M target Landon Rink has arrived on campus this morning for his unofficial visit today. It's one of two planned trips to town in the next month. He'll also be back for the Spring Game on April 20th. I've been told he and the staff are headed to breakfast before him getting a full day with the players and coaches.

Quick recruiting notes from UA Next Houston camp
Spent most of the day at Planet Ford Stadium in Spring to check out the talent at the Under Armour Next camp. Here are some quick hitting intel I was able to pick up throughout the day. - Baton Rouge (LA) LB and LSU commit Keylan Moses will visit Texas A&M on March 30th - thanks in large part to the efforts of Jay Bateman who had been his lead recruiter while at Florida. - Galveston Ball ATH Jonah Williams told me straight up he will be coming to College Station later this month to see a practice. OU has a lot of momentum so it's vital that the Aggies get him on campus. - OL commit Josh Moses had a good day. He looks lighter on his feet. He also mentioned that the staff is now very much talking to him about playing center at the next level. He checks a lot of boxes there. Very smart, cerebral kid. - Not much has changed on the Landon Rink front. The CyFair standout continues to hold the Aggies in high regard and will make multiple trips to campus this spring. - A&M hasn't made a move on an offer for North Shore LB Charles Ross, but I am told they will be pushing to get him on campus to see him in person. If that happens, the offer could follow. The recent LSU commit saw his stock take off this spring with some super impressive 100 meter times. - A&M is still engaging with Klein Oak DB Courtland Guillory who told me he'd be on campus soon but didn't have a set date. I'm hearing there's Oklahoma momentum there. - I spoke with Columbus QB Adam Schobel who told me he hadn't heard much from Texas A&M. He's solid on his commitment to Baylor currently. However, he did say that the Aggies had reached out to his cousin John Schobel whose got some intriguing tape as a standup outside linebacker or even defensive end. It wouldn't surprise me to see John make a trip up for a spring practice. - Hitchcock WR Kelshaun Johnson was telling folks in attendance that A&M and Texas were clearly in his top group. There was also a mention of Penn State, but this one looks like it's maneuvering toward an Aggie versus Longhorn head to head. - If you want some early names to keep an eye on for the Aggies in 2026, here are a few that I think the A&M staff has done an outstanding job with so far: Klein OL Nicolas Robertson Port Arthur Memorial LB Tank King Katy Mayde Creek LB Kosi Okpala Houston Legacy WR Mike Brown

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

99-100: Elite national prospect (Five-star)

Considered one of the best prospects in the nation and a likely difference-maker at the collegiate level. Displays all of the physical skills to be a future All-American with potential to be an early-round NFL draft pick.

90-98: Elite state prospect (Four-star)

Considered one of the best 30-40 prospects in the state and a top 250 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to be a major early contributor at the collegiate level with high professional potential.

80-89: Quality prospect (Three-star)

Considered one of the best 100 prospects in the state and a top 500 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to develop into a contributor over the course of his college career. Has the ability to become a professional prospect over time with development.

70-79: Solid prospect (Two-star)

Considered one of the top 250 prospects in the state. Has the physical skills to be a potential contributor at a D-1 program over the course of his collegiate career with significant development. Professional potential is low.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
