Coaches busy on the bye week
The TexAgs recruiting team has been talking to a few sources over the last few days and since the Aggies have a bye week the Texas A&M coaching staff is busy on the recruiting trail. In Texas, we hear OL coach Adam Cushing has a few plans in the DFW area. I'm told stops to see commits Connor Carty and Marcus Garcia are in the works as well as a trip to check in on five-star Oklahoma commit Michael Fasusi Down in San Antonio, Trooper Taylor is expected to be at the Cibolo Steele-San Antonio Johnson contest tonight. Texas A&M coaches also have a few out-of-state plans. Tonight coach Ish Aristide is in Florida to see Rashad Johnson and South Sumter face Gainesville Eastside. Then on Friday coach Sean Spencer is in northern California to see edge defender Marco Jones and San Ramon Valley in action against Monte Vista, while sources tell us Jordan Peterson has plans to see Jamar Beal-Goines and Desert Edge take on Verrado. We are hearing from contacts in Louisiana coach Tony Jerod-Eddie will be in Baton Rouge to check in on standout 2026 Lamar Brown while Holmon Wiggins has plans on the West coast to see 2026 ATH Brandon Arrington.
