Some Sunday Recruiting Notes
Denton Guyer standout Peyton Bowen went to the Oklahoma game last night and enjoyed his time with some friends, but he was also paying close attention to the Texas A&M win over Arkansas and was impressed with what he saw. It continues to be a tight race with A&M and Oklahoma both giving the Notre Dame commit a lot to think about. His brother Eli Bowen, who visited A&M with him last weekend, did not go anywhere on Saturday. Friday night after Guyer's win over Little Elm, I spoke to both Bowen brothers about their trip to College Station last weekend. Click HERE for Peyton's interview and HERE for Eli'sArlington Martin's Javien Toviano was in attendance and as many have noticed by now he was wearing an LSU hat. The Tigers are the team drawing much of the speculation right now given his recent visits and wardrobe selections (the hat last night), but he continues to keep an eye on the Aggies. He also has guys like Jayvon Thomas and Anthony Hill in his ear trying to bring him into the fold. As for last night, I haven't heard a lot, but it sounds like he enjoyed the atmosphere. Washington ATH and Arkansas commit Micah Tease. He is being recruited as a receiver and he took an official visit to College Station for the Miami weekend. He visited earlier this summer (HERE'S A LINK TO THAT INTERVIEW), he has a connection with Jaylon Jones, and he has some good bonds with the staff. It sounds like there's still work to be done, but he's a receiver target I've been hearing more about and could see things continuing to develop positively.Lucas Lovejoy 2024 LB Payton Pierce planned to visit College Station last weekend for the Miami game, but his homecoming put the brakes on the visit. This weekend, he already had plans for OU, so he headed north to Norman. However, he does have a really high interest in the Aggies, and he does have plans to get to College Station on October 29 when Texas A&M hosts Ole Miss.

Visitor List - Miami
It's going to be an extensive one, and we don't have confirmations on the entire list yet. We'll continue to add names, but as things stand, it's still an incredibly impressive group. Also, as I've said earlier this week, there are kids coming that are still finalizing plans, and we may not know they're headed to town until Saturday morning. We'll obviously be closely monitoring all those. a few notes on some upcoming visitors
Appalachian State is on the schedule for this weekend, but the Miami weekend has been circled as a big recruiting weekend for the Aggies and it continues to take shape. RB Roderick Robinson has scheduled an official visit for the weekend, and so will five-star linebacker commit Anthony Hill. Denton Guyer 2023 standout S Peyton Bowen and his brother 2024 CB Eli Bowen will both be in town. A few more top 2024s have also been confirmed. Lewisville S Jaydan Hardy has confirmed plans to visit. Lake Belton WR Micah Hudson is a guy Brauny recently mentioned as a potential visitor, and he has also stated his plans to be in town for the Miami game.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

99-100: Elite national prospect (Five-star)

Considered one of the best prospects in the nation and a likely difference-maker at the collegiate level. Displays all of the physical skills to be a future All-American with potential to be an early-round NFL draft pick.

90-98: Elite state prospect (Four-star)

Considered one of the best 30-40 prospects in the state and a top 250 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to be a major early contributor at the collegiate level with high professional potential.

80-89: Quality prospect (Three-star)

Considered one of the best 100 prospects in the state and a top 500 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to develop into a contributor over the course of his college career. Has the ability to become a professional prospect over time with development.

70-79: Solid prospect (Two-star)

Considered one of the top 250 prospects in the state. Has the physical skills to be a potential contributor at a D-1 program over the course of his collegiate career with significant development. Professional potential is low.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
