Under Armour Notes and Thoughts
We'll have some more in depth stories and interviews with some of these guys, especially the ones we haven't talked to in a while, but here's a few recruiting notes and thoughtsDL Dealyn Evans, Longview (TX) Pine Tree Texas A&M commitFirst I liked what I saw from Evans today. He moved well in drills and won his share of one-on-ones. Showed some nice power and worked his hands well. On the recruiting front he plans to get back to Texas A&M a few times. He is heading to visit Georgia Tech after the Under Armour camp today and then he'll be back in College Station for a couple of weekends. TCU also continues to pursue and he will likely take a visit there this spring.Longview (TX) Pine Tree 2024 DL and Texas A&M commit Dealyn Evans @dealyn1k | @TA_Recruiting | #GigEm pic.twitter.com/hpLuhj4RDU— Jason Howell (@Jason_Howell) March 12, 2023 DL Charleston Collins, Little Rock (AR) Mills He took home DL MVP honors and had a great camp today. He Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, and Alabama are among his visit plans. The fact the Aggies were the first Texas school to offer him stands out to him as well as the real honest conversations he has with the coaches. Arkansas, LSU, Michigan are a few programs who standout out. He said he'll probably have to change up his top 12 that he released earlier. He plans to take three OVs this summer and save a couple for the season and commit around November. He says he wants to commit before his senior season. OL Blake Ivy, League City (TX) Clear SpringsHe snuck in so I missed him at registration. He visited A&M for Junior Day and received an offer in January. He likes coach Addazio's straightforward approach. OL Daniel Cruz, North Richland Hills (TX) RichlandNorth Richland Hills OL Daniel Cruz says he knows he will visit Texas this spring and the Longhorns will also get an official visit. USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Baylor are a few schools he mentioned as programs of high interest. As Brauninger reporter he will be back in College Station on March 20. CB Selman Bridges, Temple (TX) Lake BeltonBridges was really impressive today. I wanted to see him move and change directions as well as size him up and he definitely looks the part. Really long and he was smooth in transition as well. On the recruiting front he has Texas on the 25th and he is thinking about Baylor on the 31st. In April he has Arkansas, Oregon, Texas A&M, and LSU. He just came back from USC and the Trojans made a strong impression. When he visits A&M in April he just wants to continue to build his relationship with coach Rushing. CB Kobe Black, Waco (TX) ConnallyHe visited in January and he plans to visit USC soon. He also plans to visit Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon, and Nebraska. He doesn't have any official visits scheduled but he says he will probably take a couple this summer and save some others for the fall. He wants to take his decision process slow but he does feel like he's getting close to naming a top 10 or so which could come this summer. S Myles Davis, Converse (TX) JudsonTalk about a guy whol looked like a million bucks, Davis looks like an LB but he was really good in one-on-ones as well. Moved really well. He said he continues to talk with BGA and they continue to talk about visits but he does not have anything scheduled at this point. He does have official visits scheduled to TCU and Texas right now. Ohio State and Ohio State are another couple of schools he knows he wants to take officials to ATH Terry Bussey, Timpson (TX)He hat been busy with basketball and now it's on to track and baseball. He has a great relationship with the entire coaching staff including Jimbo and while he doesn't have any visits scheduled he has been talking with the Aggies about an upcoming visit A few more notes Midlothian WR Bryant Wesco took home WR MVP honors and was excellent today. He had a few acrobatic grabs and he just makes it look effortless. Really fluid out there. OU and TCU appear to be the teams to beat. Red Oak 2026 WR Brayden Robinson is crazy fast and quick and created separation with ease. He's going to be a terror for the next few years. He says he plans to get out to College Station this spring. Another visitor to watch out for is Duncanville S Ka'Davion Dotson. He has camped at A&M a few times and has offers from across the country. He has been in touch with the staff and he said he's probably going to visit this spring. Colleyville Heritage 2025 RB Riley Wormley had a monster day at RB. He earned RB MVP honors and when he came running out of the backfield his routes were just different. He did a great job of making subtle movements and turning defenders around. Lewisville 2025 OL Michael Fasusi didn't disappoint. He says he plans to get back to College Station this spring too. Also really liked what I saw from Red Oak 2025 DE Kamauryn MorganGood on good, two of 25s best, DE @KamaurynM vs OT @Michael_fasusi7 @TA_Recruiting pic.twitter.com/7cm8twyNQM— Jason Howell (@Jason_Howell) March 12, 2023 Red Oak (TX) 2025 DE Kamauryn Morgan@KamaurynM | @rohawksfootball | @TA_Recruiting pic.twitter.com/3hJ6SVCFVh— Jason Howell (@Jason_Howell) March 12, 2023 Silsbee standout ATH Drelon Miller worked at WR today and man he has a solid build. He ran some really nice routes and made himself a good target but he didn't get many great opportunities today. Also thought Taylor Tatum showed some nice flashes but didn't have many great passes thrown his way. I do have to say I was more impressed with Tiger Riden's receiving ability than I thought I would. He made some really nice snags out there today.

Texas A&M continues to fight for 2024 safety Jordon Johnson-Rubell
Texas A&M offered IMG Academy 2024 safety Jordon Johnson-Rubell as a freshman, but the Aggies recently missed his top 12. However, the Maroon & White are back in the fight, and a visit to College Station for Johnson-Rubell could be on the horizon.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
