Weekend Visitor Recap
All of the visitors have come and gone so let's jump right into this. We will start with the official visits. The Aggies did not add anyone to the commit list this weekend, which was not a surprise, but they definitely made some strong impressions. The Aggies hosted six committed prospects this weekend. All of them ranked 4-stars or higher. All six met the coaches for the first time and got their first real in-depth look at the facilities since committing.QB Conner Weigman, Cypress Bridgeland - Weigman is one of the leaders of the class and has been a strong recruiter for the Aggies since making his pledge. He is locked in with his commitment and plans to play football and baseball at Texas A&M. He was hosted by Haynes King.WR Isaiah Sategna, Fayetteville (AR) - Sategna returned to College Station for the second time in the last three months. Arkansas, LSU, Oregon, Missouri, and USC have made runs at the Texas A&M commit, but after his visit he says he is locked in with the Aggies. Moose Muhammad was his host and he connected well with QB commit Conner Weigman on the visit. He may take a few other visits, but he says he is strong in his commitment. TE Donovan Green, Dickinson - When it comes to ring leaders of the class their may not be anyone more outspoken and vocal than Green. He is a charismatic prospect and one of, if not the, top TE in the class. He was in the ear of the uncommitted guys all weekend particular Houston-area guys Harold Perkins, Chris Marshall, and Bryce Anderson. He was hosted by former Dickinson standout Jaylen Wydermyer on the trip. OL PJ Williams, Dickinson - Williams is quickly earning a reputation as one of the funniest members of the class. He committed on the same day as Green and he has been firm in his decision ever since. He was hosted by Layden Robinson on his trip.DE Malick Sylla, Katy - The Katy standout was the first 2022 commit to announce his decision and he has been firm in his decision ever since. The visit only helped solidify his commitment status. He also visited for the spring game and he was hosted by Tunmise Adeleye this weekend.CB Bobby Taylor, Katy - Taylor is another ringleader in the class. He has been locked in with his commitment and he was busy recruiting this weekend. He has taken on a responsibility to help build the class and he said he is 100-percent made up and he is not planning to take any other visits. He plans to be in College Station a lot the rest of summer on unofficial visits to help recruit on visit weekends. He was hosted by Now for the uncommitted guysRB Jamarion Miller, Tyler Legacy - Miller might just be the most intriguing visitor of the weekend for me. He is the most recently to be offered and the main competition since offering has been Alabama and Florida. When the Aggies offered, he said he would take a visits, but it looked like it would be an unofficial trip. He surprised some and decided to not only take an official visit, but make Texas A&M his first official visit. This was Texas A&M%92s chance to make themselves a real player in this recruitment and the returns are the Aggies have made a strong push up his list. Put the Aggies in as a contender here with Alabama, Florida, USC and Oklahoma State all set to get visits in June. Isaiah Spiller was his host. Interestingly Alabama picked up an RB commit this evening so it should be interesting to see if/how that may impact his process.WR Chris Marshall, Fort Bend Marshall - Marshall was viewed as the most likely candidate to make a decision and the Aggies are high on his list following the trip. He is close with former Marshall standout and current Aggie Devon Achane, and the Aggies have been thought to be one of his leaders heading into the visit. He was able to catch-up with Achane and he said the meeting with coach Craig and coach Fisher were %93everything he was looking for. He plans to take an official visit to USC next week and he said he "definitely" plans to return to Texas A&M for another visit. He is currently eying a decision during or after the 2021 season. Hez Jones was his player host.DL Anthony Lucas, Scottsdale (AZ) Chaparral - Texas A&M was Lucas' first official visit and the Aggies it sounds like the Aggies made a really strong impression on him and his family. As Liucci reported on Saturday, him and his family seemed very dialed in on his visit. The Aggies made his list of top schools and it sounds like everyone in his circled came away impressed with what they saw in Aggieland. He has an official scheduled to Notre Dame for next week.LB Harold Perkins, Cypress Park - Perkins is without a question one of the top players in the class and he has been a high priority prospect for the Aggies from the very start. All the reports from his visit have been glowing. His relationship with Antonio Cromartie and Conner Weigman are definitely helping there. No one expected a commitment or anything but the Aggies needed to hit a homerun here and it sounds like that is exactly what happened. He was hosted by Edgerrin Cooper and the other commits were in his ear throughout the weekend. He will visit LSU next Wednesday and Thursday, and he has LSU, Bama, Texas, and Oklahoma are among the others squarely in the mix.DB Bryce Anderson, Beaumont West Brook - Anderson was a hot topic of conversation throughout the weekend and it sounds like the Aggies have made themselves a strong contender in this race. Leon O'Neal was his host and it sounds like the two hit if off extremely well. As Liucci said Saturday, it sounds like the visit went as well as the Aggies could have ever hoped for and have positioned themselves well as he heads into the rest of his OV schedule. He has official visits scheduled to Texas (June 25) and Alabama (June 18) and he plans to announce his commitment on July 4. Unofficial VisitsDE Anthony James, Wylie East (2023) - The Texas A&M commit came up on his own dime on Thursday and stayed through Saturday morning. Coach Price put him through a workout Saturday morning before they left and he is excited as ever about his commitment to Texas A&M. Seeing the field was a big experience for him and it was also his first time seeing the coaches face-to-face. He is already making plans to come back for the Texas A&M/Alabama game this fall. WR Andre Greene Jr., Richmond (VA) St. Christopher's - Greene had a private workout on Friday and he also met with coach Fisher and coach Craig. Since the trip he has been very positive. He has official visits scheduled to Georgia, North Carolina, Oregon, and Notre Dame.DT Bear Alexander, Fort Worth Brewer - The Georgia commit made his way to Aggieland and spent most of Saturday on campus before leaving Sunday. It is the second time he has taken an unofficial visit to College Station since April. Since he made his January pledge Texas A&M has stayed on him and we have always said we thought his recruitment could come back around to the Aggies. Well, after talking to some sources it sounds like this visit was another very positive step for the Aggies. Having fellow Georgia commit Deyon Bouie in town with him also proved to positive, and he already has strong bonds with Nick Williams and Elijah Robinson. He has been very active on social media tweeting his pics from the visit and he worked with coach Robinson while he was in town. We did not expect a flip this weekend, but it is clear the Aggies remain very much in the picture.LB Ish Harris, Pilot Point - On Friday night, Ish Harris and two friends decided to book a trip to College Station. They headed south on Saturday and stayed through Sunday morning. He had fun getting to know some of the other prospects and he will return next weekend for his official visit. Coach Price and coach Santucci have done a great job leading the way on this one and it now looks like it is down to Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Texas. He has June official visits scheduled for all three and he plans to make his college commitment in July.CB Deyon Bouie, Bainbridge (GA) - Like Bear, the reviews from his visit have been positive. Bouie is currently committed to Georgia, but the Aggies have been making a push since hiring Nick Williams. It looks like an official visit is likely to occur in the future.WR Johntay Cook, DeSoto (2023) - Johntay Cook made his first visit to College Station and he is already making plans to return. He was in town with his dad and he plans to return on June 16th with his mother. This time around he also connected with friend and fellow top recruit Malik Muhammad. LB Tausili Akana, Honolulu (HI) Kahuku (2023) - After the visit the Aggies extended an offer his way. It should come as no surprise the Aggies offered the 6-4, 220-pound standout considering he is regarded as one of the nation%92s best in 2023. He also visited and received offers from Texas and TCU since Thursday. CB Malik Muhammad, Dallas/IMG Academy (2023) - Muhammad says he has had the Aggies in his top five since Jimbo Fisher arrived in Aggieland and this weekend only helped their case. He was surprised by the facilities and the really enjoyed talking with coach Rushing. He made the trip with his dad and he met up with friend Johntay Cook while in town. This week he will visit Oklahoma State, Clemson, and Texas, and he plans to return to College Station on the 16th with Johntay Cook before they take a visit to Alabama.DT Omar White, Leesburg (GA) (2024) - White went through a private workout while in town and definitely turned some heads. Liucci said he expects him to pick up an offer if he hasn't already received one. A few other notes-The photo room was a huge hit.-Leon O'Neal made a big impression on a lot of prospects in town this weekend.-Nick Williams is apparently a really good recruiter.-Duncanville OL Jaylen Early; no longer plans to take an unofficial to Texas A&M on June 8, instead he is talking to the Aggies about scheduling an official visit for June 18. -Texarkana Texas High DE Derrick Brown; is no longer taking an official visit to Texas A&M. He was scheduled to visit on June 18, but he will now take a visit to Texas Tech. This weekend he took an official visit to Texas and he also has visits scheduled for Oklahoma, Baylor, and Arizona State.

A pair of Friday recruiting quick hitters
- As posted on his Instagram story, North Shore CB Denver Harris will in fact be taking a visit to Texas A&M this weekend, except it will be in an unofficial capacity. My source in Houston told me last night that he wouldn't be amongst the official visitors this weekend, but Denver has now made the choice to come up on Saturday. We'll continue to monitor this situation. I still comfortable calling Alabama the leader.- I also mentioned that Richmond (VA) WR Andre Greene Jr. would be in town for an unofficial today. Based on our intel, he actually had a private workout for Dameyune Craig and other members of the Aggie staff this morning before touring campus and facilities for the remainder of the day.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
