A couple of Monday recruiting notes
- Jason put out an update recently with some of the names that are expected to be in College Station on official visits on that June 4th weekend. Well, I've been told it's looking like a few more front line targets will be headed to town to join a whole host of A&M commits, as well. Here are some of the names I've heard that could potentially turn up in Aggieland that Friday through Sunday. Bremond DL Jaray Bledsoe Ft Bend Marshall WR Chris Marshall The Woodlands LB Martrell Harris CyPark LB Harold Perkins North Shore CB Denver Harris If all on that list show up, along with guys like Bryce Anderson and the host of commits that will be in town, we would be talking about one of the biggest official visit weekends in Jimbo Fisher's tenure in College Station. All in all, I'm betting we see something like 12 or 13 players make their way to town. - Speaking of Harris, I continue to hear that A&M is doing a great job behind the scenes in this recruitment. The communication with TJ Rushing, Mike Elko, and Jimbo Fisher remains productive and consistent. Denver is doing a good job of playing things close to the vest, and I suspect he'll take all five officials before making a decision. Still, you have to like how the A&M staff is handling the day-to-day, week-to-week aspect of selling the program and school. - Keep an eye out for kids committed elsewhere to schedule official visits to Texas A&M in June, as well. There are already some rumblings happening on that front. I should also say though that this is going to be common practice everywhere (like Bobby Taylor visiting Alabama on June 11th) because of the circumstances surrounding the extended dead period and nullification of visits for a large part of the 2022 recruiting cycle.
