Yedlin is playing lazy defense. Not tracking back about 5 minutes ago and he just now barely puts pressure on Chillwell as he's running down his side.

He's been not good in his last few appearances.

Maybe the coach can teach wood the offides rules over halftime

Wood is the new Wondo. How he continues to get call-ups is beyond me because he can never score, whether it be for club or country.

Just as I was about to say we've held it together pretty well since giving up 2.

Come on Brooks!

Guess the excuse that we're still young and still don't have a coach counts.

We've completely wasted the last year

If John Brooks doesn't care, why should we?

Even if we're playing great...this is absolutely the case.

What a waste of a year.

Still need:

A scoring threat at FW
A competent CB pair
A ball-winning CMF
A coach with a courageous outlook

England has 5-7 players as good or better than our best.

That was definitely not England's first team. As it says below, "Gareth Southgate trotted out an experimental lineupEngland's least experienced since 1980, according to Sky Sports..."

England had lots of players who are not in the first 11. We would have been punished by a higher caliber team, but it was a friendly and this match doesn't really matter for either side.
Pulisic looked dangerous but obviously needs better supporting players around him. However, he still looks a little lightweight to me. No, that's not the be all or end all of playing, but he seemed to get muscled off the ball a little too easily still.

Anyway, not a particularly entertaining match, but as I live Stateside, I don't like losing to the USA

I stopped watching around the 65th minute due to boredom and not wanting to see more goals.

We lack a Center mid that will run the team, our defense looks terrible, we have no forward...we just aren't a good team.

On top of that, I would play Sancho over Pulisic all day everyday. I know he was surrounded by better players but damn...he just isn't as dynamic as that kid at all. I hope he continues to develop but I'm doubtful that he's going to pan out the way we all want him to.

Maybe I should stop drinking whiskey because I'm a Debbie Downer.

I can't believe Bobby Wood is an option....

Same old same.....has to be a lot of people making a lot of money and not wanting new blood...the last real coach couldn't stand em either and tried to buck the trend and they fried em and brought in old faithful...

I used love watching US soccer. I even went and attended several games in Germany in '06. I used to treat US soccer as a social event and would meet at watch parties with friends. When the US flamed out of the last World Cup I lost all interest. In my opinion, failure to qualify set the program back 15-20 years.

It doesn't help that there is ZERO advertising for these games and US soccer (and CONFECAF) have a terrible TV contract. I haven't watched a game since the World Cup qualifying and I generally don't even know when they are going on. If people want to save US soccer, they need to demand the Etch-a-sketch be shaken at the highest levels of the federation.
