Why does the organization insist on playing LMJ. He is terrible at everything. Cut him loose and let him room with Jon Singleton for life!

Ouch. Angels LF ran into corner of Crawford boxes face first.

What's the deal with Framber? Throwing at his catcher after he gives up a jack. Wtf

Yeah, that was one of the more ****ed up things I've seen on a baseball field. Total head case.

I feel like the Astros need to suspend his ass for the rest of the season. If Correa or Altuve had any balls, they would walk into the managers office and demand it.

after watching the replay, i don't really see what the big deal is. looks like they just got crossed up, so what if framber turned away i'd be pissed too if that happened right after giving up a slam

I don't know how you can interpret their actions immediately after as anything other than intentional.

Why didn't catcher call time and back off?

Go back and watch starting a few pitches back and it will be very clear what happened.

Who knows. But hard to ask someone just called up to control your veteran pitcher

100% intentional. He knew it, catcher knew it, batter knew it. He got the WTF look from both of them. One of the vets should rack him for that chicken s*** move.

could definitely be true, but that Schwab character is a cosplay reporter.

His earlier report was that the two hashed it out in the clubhouse and everything was fine. He just throws **** at the wall.

Sorry what am I missing here? I'm that video, it looks like the Salazar was ready for the pitch, but somehow hit him. I missed everything going on after the grand slam

He thought it was a breaking ball but Framber threw a fastball/sinker. So not what was called.

He's obviously expecting a curve ball. He sees the ball coming over the plate so turns his glove inside to catch it. But the ball doesn't curve. You can't react quickly enough to catch a 93 mph ball you are expecting to break.

TL;DR: Framber is being a little biatch

Framber addressed it all in his post game interview. He said it wasn't intentional and was a mis-communication. He's likely lying but he addressed it.

He also said he got with Salazar in the dugout after the inning and they discussed it.

What likely happened is Framber told him to never tell him to step off the mound ever again when he's ready to pitch. It's not his place.

Framber is an emotionally fragile pitcher but the Internet is blowing it up because it gets attention.

I'd wager everyone in the locker room has moved on.

Why didn't Salazar call time before the GS pitch rather than trying to wave Framber off?
People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.

Espada should never put a catcher behind home plate for Framber where it isn't his place to tell Framber to do that. Framber has to be managed by a catcher because he's too emotionally fragile to manage himself.

yeah... the more I watch the whole sequence, I'm on board with Framber acting like a little b*tch.

I agree with this.

I'm not defending Framber at all but guessing what happened.

Framber has hurt his team by actual actions on the field when he didn't back up the catcher costing his team an extra run and then throwing outfielders and coaches under the bus when their positioning cost a run in Framber's mind.

He's a different version of Nuke Laloosh with nasty late movement but has a ten cent head.

He's gonna get a big contract in the off season but he's not helping himself with his actions this season.

My guess is most of the coaching staff and some players are just hoping to get through the rest of the season with more "Good Framber" outings as opposed to "Bad Framber" outings and be done with him.

He's not coming back because of what he's going to financially receive. An obvious divorce just waiting on the judge to sign the papers.

Love Framber but he has stunk it up against the Yankees for awhile.

And he (probably more than any single player) cost the Astros a third championship by rolling out an 0-2 record with 8.22 ERA in two clunkers at home against the Rangers in the 2023 ALCS.

Then he was on the ropes again last year against Detroit in game 1 giving up 7 hits, 2 walks and 3 ERs in only 4 1/3 before getting yanked.

He is one of the best regular season workhorses there is but his recent playoff performances haven't been close to ace level and his ability to handle pressure and adversity will be even more in question after last night.

In other news, this is an interesting development and could create a real logjam of players.

I assume we'd rotate Paredes at second and DH, Altuve st second and left, and Yordan at Left and DH.

If fully healthy, you have to get Paredes bat in the lineup.

Should have known we couldn't get to a point with healthy starters the rest of the way out.

Looks like it's gonna be Hunter and Framber with some mixture of whoever is healthy and effective.

At least we got Garcia back. Hopefully stay healthy and pitch like he did consistently
