Without watching back on TV I think that one was on our pitch clock operator. Nothing slow about Wiggins getting back the box. Just a feel from being at the game but I would bet the clock never reset. It was at 3 when they called her on it. That is just wrong
That should be reviewable and without a challenge.
Even though it worked out in our favor today. I hate that leaving early is reviewable. I hope coaches fight to change that
The outing today by Leavitt was huge for this team. You need 4 pitchers in this league. Lefty and Shay have showed they can be consistent. Vestal is veteran of the league but spinners can be hit or miss. I suspect she will have another great outing or 2 in SEC play but you never know from day to day if her style will win the day. Leavitt has talent but didn't seem to be pitching with confidence so far this year. Today could be a big step forward. Getting a sweep with lefty only pitching once will only made her better. Now she doesn't have to carry the weight of the staff on her back. I think she was available today but just not needed. I look forward to the atmosphere of playing at home this postseason
I've been in Vegas for the last few days but have been watching highlights and replays of parts of the games when I could. This team is definitely legit and is giving me the same kind of vibes I got from Schloss' first year. The SEC schedule starts to get real from here on. If they can somehow sneak out a series win in Baton Rouge I'll be sold. The final series of the season is at Gainesville and hopefully it'll be the series that decides the SEC regular season championship.

The job Ford has done this quickly has been phenomenal.
I was glad to see Coach Ford give Kennedy the day off. She can't go too many 250 pitch weekends. Using all 4 pitchers makes sense.
After the sweep of RPI #18 Auburn, we have moved up to #8 in the RPI, so right now we are definitely in the national seed conversation.
We have an upcoming road series against #5 LSU so there is another opportunity to move up. Getting 2 out of 3 there would be an enormous boost.
