Shay is best when her drop is working. She has worked 3 no hit innings without it being very good. If she can find her best pitch she may go deep in the game. If not we need Vestal to have her best stuff

Why must the SEC umps be so dreadfully bad at their job? We have had this girl, Kaleigh, multiple games and she is just not good.

I can stomach Kaylee more now. Not sure if she is just starting to mature or she didn't like Jo but she used to screw us regularly.
And then she signals out on strike 3 but the ball hopped and runner advanced batter goes to one as ags start to come off the field. That is on the umpire who called the out

Hope that's a lesson learned for her. Glad it did not hurt us.
Bad play on Cottrill for not knowing the number of outs. Bad on ump for signaling out when wasn't yet. That throws the fielders off when she signals incorrectly
And same for the LSU batter who was pouting and started towards the dugout at first... poor coaching on LSUs part...

For those that don't know. This umpire was a backup catcher for Baylor when we were in the Big 12. Certainly no love lost between the 2 teams

That isn't obstruction... the LSU announcers, especially Hall of Fame Coach Yvette Girouard both were adamant that the obstruction rule as written is stupid.
It's really screwy at the high school level since there is no replay. And nobody calls the rule consistently from game to game.
