That was a fun inning for the Vols. Four runs may not be enough against the Tigers the way they've been playing but it's a good start. Three and half innings to go.
Batter 2 for Vols 2-2 count, fouls one off, hits to Robertson at short who commits a turnover his mom would be disappointed in and runner beats the throw to first.
Vol batter 3 gets count to 3-2 or 2-2. Ump trying to determine if he called a no-pitch at 1-2. Count stands at 3-2 after long discussion with everyone in the stadium.
Tiger hitter number one, Brice Jordan hits one down the chalk in LF, on the first pitch, to the corner for an inning opening double.
Vols changing pitchers.
So far this year the UT pitcher Neely, starter tonight, has given up one run to LSU in 13 innings. Pretty impressive for a guy that pitches in clown shoes.
UT changes pitcher. Shocking that Mr. 6.5 era doesn't get the job done. Replaced by Soto with a 3.67 era 6-2 record. Hopefully a better selection for UT.
