Unless anyone has a better idea, I figure we'll continue to fill up the first region on a first come first serve basis. Then we can create the second region once the 17th person joins us, or when enough of the first region people are ready to start a second city, whichever comes first.
wee_ag- I don't have the game, but there are numerous comments from EA support reps stating that we won't have to buy the game again for mac if you already have it for the PC. I think I saw one that was from a SimCity dev even.

FYI - If you get stuck at the front where it says "Checking for updates" and the server change button isnt working, go to "Z:\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityRecovery" and run the SimCityRecovery.exe file. You'll need to change the Z drive reference for your respective computer's file location for the game.

Yup... Waiting to try and get into the Aggieland region, but these servers are brutal.

So are yall going in order of who signed up or who can get in at the moment. Im not going to take someones spot that already has signed up, and I can wait for the second region.

Just my opinion, but at the rate people are trickling in I don't see why we can't make it first come first serve. There will absolutely be a second TexAgs region, and probably more after that. If you're really uncomfortable with it you can always create the second region yourself instead of joining the first.
Its the NA East 1 server up yet? I don't feel like fighting with it again until i know it'll work.
Built an awesome city in West 1 and today it says it doesn't exist. And it won't connect to the other servers. The game is really fun, but now I'm basically locked out. This is like hooking someone on crack and then putting the crack into a locked safe. Pretty cruel, EA, pretty cruel.
