FYI - I was looking the Spurs MOST ever points in the top league - it was 77 and that was playing 42 games in '84-'85.

We would be at 74 after this and surely going to finish with 84-89 - a record easily for Spurs and still might not win the league. Ugh.

The most Spurs have ever gotten before in a 38 game season was 70 points last year and '09-'10.

Not that I'm ready to settle for 2nd, but that would be the highest finish since winning it all in '60-61'.

I do not see Chelsea slipping up. Still, we're continuing to grow and improve as a team I hope we can hang onto our players with our limited wage structure and more importantly, hang onto the manager.

Still amazed at how both the ref AND linesman BOTH missed that handball on Sanchez in the area. Obvious from all angles yet not called. Moot point I know, but would've loved to see Kane get another one to close in on Lukaku for the PL goal lead.

Probably should have had at least 5 maybe 6 goals.

that no call on the handball plus there were 3 other blasts that Cech made great saves on just barely getting a hand on them. Thats not counting 2 off the crossbar. And then there were 3 headers that were just wide. great pressure.

and only a couple of real saves by Lloris needed.

Spurs now sit at 77 points. If they win out they will hit 89 points which will tie the most points ever for a second place team since the Premier league format change.

89 points would have won the league in all but 6 of the premier league seasons. The record for points is only 95.
