Saw The Mowgli's with Night Riots at Fitzgeralds last night. Very entertaining show, both bands were great. First opener was too.

Walked by Christian's Tailgate after and caught the last 5 rounds of the fight too from outside. It was kinda boring.

I think the thought process was wanting to have three days of music and the scheduling the fest on a holiday weekend makes that more manageable for most people. Maybe we'll get lucky with an early cool front. If not we'll be set up in the shade with cold beverages.

elton was awesome on friday. great weather and he played a good number of jams. opening with funeral for a friend/love lies bleeding and following with bennie and the jets and alice was incredible!

Jeff Beck / ZZ Top show last Saturday,... really good show. Jeff Beck tore up Little Wing. Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie came out to join with Beck's band. Last saw Jeff Beck with The Imelda May Band at The Moody Theater, some two weeks after it opened.

So far, this year,... Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, Beck, ZZ Top,... next scheduled are The Stones.

Maybe looking to go to John Fogerty's 1969 Tour.

DMB "opens" for themselves by playing an acoustic set, with Carter on a smaller kit, Stefan on an upright bass, Tim on acoustic. Then they play a regular electric set as the "headliner".
