it depends...if the conveyor is running to match the speed of the wheels:
x= speed of conveyor
y= speed of the plane
x+y= speed of the wheels
while 0<x and y!=0
x != x+y...ever...which means the conveyor is accelerating...
this can only be true when y=0 and y will only equal 0 when the friction force = thrust force...
...equilibrium.
if you simplifly the problem and say that the conveyor matches the ground speed of the plane, you are simply saying:
x = ground speed of the plane
y = speed of the conveyor
and
y = -x

Actually, most of the more intelligent/educated people on here have been saying that. The two exceptions who are saying otherwise are the people who say the plane won't take off no matter what and myself who is speaking purely theoretically in terms of a superfast conveyor/awesomest wheel bearings ever!
