Such a ridiculously hard adjustment for the hitter. I am really surprised this tactic isn't used more often. It's almost unfair.

Yeah. Schloss is pretty good with it. But can definitely backfire. Especially in college, never know how the next guy will come out.
Sure, but our guys certainly know Schloss does it on the regular, so when they do get the call it's not like "wait what? really?" Just another pitching chance. (not really but less so than other coaches for sure)
