There was a whole group wearing his jersey sitting in the row next to the one I was in.

That's cool. He's terrible at baseball but apparently a good dude.

Don't know enough about him to say whether he's a good dude or not but he was ineffective that night. But I'm sure he is a good guy. Most people are decent and the ones who aren't seem to get a lot of extra attention.

Nobody said anything rude to his family though so that was good.

Os came back last night after Tillman was HR prone again. Tell you what...Britton has been nails but Brad Brach is my dude. Maybe the DL stint will reset ODay who has been very meh.

I am not suggesting that every one of these guys isn't worth what they are making (if a ballplayer is actually ever worth 20 million a year), but I am suggesting that they have contracts that the Yankees are going to have to eat a ton of money on to get rid of them.

Well considering how the sox offense is these days 6 runs isn't awful. Which is also an indication of the O's pitching too.

Price with 8 solid and the Sox pull out a low-scoring game

Last night was either the worst display of situational hitting I've ever seen or the most clutch relief performance I've ever seen. Can't really decide but maybe both.

Game tied 1 - 1 in the bottom of the 9th. ChiSox pitching walks the bases loaded. So it is bases loaded, no outs.

ChiSox put in a new reliever "Duke" and put an outfielder directly behind second base (giving them 7 infielders including the pitcher and catcher). All the Sox needed to do was hit a fly ball to win the game.

Duke struck out Pedrioa, got the next hitter to ground out to the OF playing IF who damn near threw the game away at home and the next player looked like a pitcher swinging the bat.

ChiSox came back in the 10th to win the game...

It was awful!

Went to the game yesterday and it was almost perfect. Cool, overcast and the Sox won!

O's rotation finally caught up to them and I'm surprised it took this long given the division. Plus side is Bundy and Gausman are in the rotation; downside is that there is literally no young depth AT ALL beyond them.

The farm is junk outside of Cisco.

Anyway, hopefully they can keep it close and make a run for first or a WC.
