We should be able to run through the raid pretty easily now. I still have 2 characters that need to run it this week. We knocked it out last night in what, an hour and a half? And nothing about last night was a clean run either! Lol

I've run it through up to the final encounter. (Ill watch some youtube today to get a sense for the mechanics).

Xur is selling a non-legacy gauntlet engram this week (maybe a glitch) so you can decrypt them to max light (or save them until Tuesday to get more light out of them)

Confirmed, they'll decrypt close to your light level like any exotic engram that drops in game. With hard mode dropping on Tuesday that'll come with an increased max light level so if you are close to 385 hold on to them until then.

Glad y'all got it knocked out! I had every intention of jumping on last night but we had our after school program yesterday. By the time I got home and had eaten dinner, I may have fallen asleep and slept until 1:30 AM. Yeah, saw what time it was and just went to take the contacts out and went back to bed. I'll be on tonight, though!

Weekly update notables:
  • Tuesday a patch will download for hard mode raid, max light increased to 400
  • Archon's Forge, Heroic Strikes and Legendary Engrams will provide items up to 385 light
  • Nightfall, Exotic Engrams, Trials, Cruicible, Iron Banner, and raid provide up to 400
  • Nightfall recommended light bumped to 380 most others stay the same
  • Ghosts added to Archon Forge drops
  • Increased drop rate of ghosts in faction packages
  • Heroic mode raid will begin 2PM Pacific (4PM Central) on Tuesday the 18th

No problem, guys. Sorry if I was a bit testy at times --- just had some other things I wanted to get to last night as well. Glad we did it though.
