All in all, very solid run for me. Finally pulled a helmet and gauntlets for my titan, got a timebreaker sparrow(one of the ones that will explode if you speed up too much), and the best part of the night was I got a Preadyth's Timepiece. Never even knew it existed til it dropped. Forrest was a little jealous of the pulse rifle drop, I do believe.

The timepiece would've been nice on the Nightfall. I only have a void and solar primary and they're both nerfed-ass auto rifles. I also failed the Nightfall about 5 times. Very frustrating. It's as close as I've come to a rage quit.

I've got the time piece, but haven't been able to get a single etheric light to make it usable in a nightfall. What's the best way to get etheric light? PoE (are the level 32 and 34 significantly harder than the level 28)?

Etheric light has been the easiest to obtain for me through the Iron Banner events that happen. The alternate character buff bungie put in has been amazing! I've also been able to get etheric light from random drops at the end from the nightfalls. This week's nightfall is a tough one to solo, especially if you aren't a warlock sunsinger to self res in a tight spot. There are several of us on here than can help you out if you can't get some buddies on one night to run it with you.


As for the prison of elders, some bosses can be more difficult than others, like Qodron for example. Can be almost impossible to bust out of the containment bubbles if you don't get jailbreaker. Have to have a 365 damage shotgun to bust out if you don't have the jailbreaker bonus.

Sherpa me. Had him to a sliver twice but couldn't close the deal. I really feel like stun locking him at the beginning makes a huge difference with the specialist + arc burn modifiers.

Even with me and Forrest two-manning it yesterday we had him dead in the final room within 15-20 seconds max. He should be around half health or just above it after the first two rooms, then you literally just Vestian Dynasty/Patience and Time/arc fusion rifle him until he teleports down to the back corner, then finish him there.

I've got one character left to do it on if you and Pac1698 want to team up and do it later.

Just added you. Only way to really enjoy this game is with a group of folks. The raids, prison of elders, PvP, etc is only doable with some folks in the trenches with you!

And for the nightfall this week, 2 guys tagging Taniks with Patience and Time will let you kill him before he can even teleport to the back corner. Just keep hitting head shots on him and he'll stay stunned/staggered on the platform in the middle.

Thanks!! Patience and Time is something that I actually do have, so hopefully I'll be able to contribute!! The hardest part about the game is actually getting an extended amount of time to play with others without upsetting the wife. She's been understanding lately since she knows it's a good stress reliever for me (I was also hitting destiny hard during the weeks leading up to signing day)!!

Pac -- add TheForrestFires. I can help you with the nightfall if you want. The room with the spider walker is the hardest part just because of all the adds that do arc damage. But yeah, I am sure between all of us here we can get you through a nightfall or two. I ran it with all 3 of my chars yesterday in under an hour (55 minutes to be precise). That was with a few wipes included.

I added you, forgot to mention my PSN is MidnightYell.

Has anyone encountered this absolutely stupid glitch in the NF where the adds don't spawn in the first room on the Ketch? I fight through the cave room, Taniks beams up, I follow him, then there's nothing. And it won't let me beam back down or open the door to the walker room. Just stuck there.

Spent last night collecting all the Golden Chests which was the last thing I needed to complete my triumphs.

Xur is pretty good this week with 2 of the new exotics with decent rolls.
