The ONE awesome thing Destiny did was raids.

Bungie cuts it out. I will never understand Bungie's design decisions.

That said, that update has some interesting things. There is that picture of upgrading equipment. That gun looks like Fatebringer with 300 to 365. Does that mean there is an upgrade path for VoG legendary weapons?

You know, there was that leak a few months ago about some dude running around the Tower with level 34 gear that was VoG. Do you think they are replacing the endgame gear in both the raids to keep them relevant? It would solve the issue with all the ascendant shards and energies piling up in most peoples inventories.

Do we have to get new drops for our weapons to get a 365 fatebringer just an upgrade path? No upgrades for legendaries?

Bungie really should have come out and explained everything about HoW right off the bat.. People were already a little burnt out on this game, and with this initial negativity, it may be enough to finally put the clamps down on it.

At the very least, it was Urk and not Deej who delivered the news. Deej's writing style makes him sound condesending and a D-bag. At least Urk said there was no new raid plainly.

I kinda wanna play a three man coop though like a firefight/horde mode though.

Got an hour till my GTA that I got with the console updates. See y'all there.

I'm furious. I swear that a raid was promised per expansion at some point. Going to try and get whatever money I can get back. How did they let this happen? It's unfathomable.

I'm going to start playing on PS4 again after getting 3 32's on XB1...first night back in at level 24 ... I do VOG NM and grab a Gjallerhorn out of the gorgon chest. Never saw it in 1000 hours on xb1

If they even think for one second to make us run the VoG for the new weapons that are 365 instead of giving us an upgrade path, they can eff right off.

I will let them try and sell me on the DLC, but they have some selling to do.

  • Crota will now wait until fully standing before a sword attack
  • Fixed a bug where the sword immediately despawned after killing a swordbearer
  • Swords will now last a full 30 seconds after being picked up


    • Hopefully they fixed the worst of the bugs. I won't be on till late tonight, but I am willing to try HM Crota for a bit to see if the bugs are fixed.
