This ish was LONG!!!!! Like one big microcosm of how the series has ended up. Good start, decent plots turn to shock value crap, then it just drags and you somehow keep it on and stumble across the finish line begging for mercy.

Samcro has to have a Mayhem vote on Jax. It has to be unanimous that he gets whacked for the "good of the organization". A prez killing another prez and getting away with it undermines the club. Leading theory on the rule getting tossed involves keeping his boys out of the club. Or on having to call everyone brother, or wearing white shoes, or marrying trannys.

i've managed to avoid watching any of this season on tv. i'll read the recaps and if there's a scene i'm interested in seeing based on those recaps (like the nero phone call two weeks ago), i'll go find it.
but last night, i watched probably the last 15-20 minutes. i thought the scene with jax, unser and gemma was pretty damn good and very well done.

absolutely. i've watched the first 5 seasons and want to know how it ends, but for reasons that have been beaten to death worse than ope for 18 pages, i've got little interest in spending the time to watch it.
don't hate because i'm smart enough to avoid multiple prison rape scenes and jax's ass

In defense of the rest of us gluttons for punishment, some of the prison scenes included poetry. And at least we got to see Gemma finally take one to the head.

I think that the 'unwritten bylaw' had to do with not letting black members patch in. I think he wants to get that black club patched as SOA.
