Based on the emails I got from him, he doesn't really care. He defended the selective censorship and the banning (although I do admit that I was deliberately pushing buttons at that point as I was already pissed off).

He would have won some points with me if he lifted the ban and changed the wording of the message left by staff or returned the posts removed. I was pissed that I accused of hijacking a thread.

Ban notifications to users with an explanation of what post triggered the ban and why. Don't let mods make snarky comments about a post or user when a post is scrubbed and they can't comment back.

Have to agree with this.

I've only gotten a couple of bans in my 20+ years posting here, and never got an explanation of what I did that triggered it. I had to go back through my own posts to find which one had been removed.

And this isn't a complaint. I simply think that it would be courteous to let the user know what earned the ban.
