Arkansas finishes the season 40-25. I would say they overachieved getting all the way to the CWS.

the Hogs were only 2-9 vs. teams that made it to Omaha

I don't either. But I'm pretty certain it ain't bugs. The Missouri River is about half a mile over the left field fence, and it might be lined with cottonwoods. Dunno.

And Arky's tourney is ova.

I lived on the river side of Rio Grande Blvd. in Albuquerque for a number of years. Lots of cottonwoods there and I did wonder if that was cotton before I asked.

Great reactions. But you're right, if that ball is 12" towards he 4 hole, it's a tie game, and maybe a big inning. As it is, prolly a Va win.
