Someone that doesn't know the difference between lose, loose and lost and constantly struggles to conjugate verbs, really makes me wonder about the quality of education to be found at Austin Community College..... I must have missed the link in this thread to verify this.

My recollection is that the recruit(s) visited the McCombs Business School and somebody got confused and reported that McCombs met them at the business school.

But I'm sure you Aggies are all right about this just like the certainty that he cheated on his wife and meant that he was paying somebody when he used the term "broker" to describe the adult with the most influence on a recruit (you know: mother, father, uncle, whatever). Oh, and the certainty about the F250, that's another unsubstantiated rumor that y'all created and choose to believe. It's a fine Aggies tradition.

It was from a report on a Texas site that several recruits talked directly about meeting Red McCombs on their visit.

And I'm sure it's a total coincidence that Charlie's wife filed for divorce right when the story about the Louisville booster's wife became public. You're so dense you'll plug your ears and close your eyes to anything so you don't have to accept reality.

I'll assume that all of your sources and beliefs are founded in the same reality as the unfounded claim I bold in your post and describe in the bolded part of my post.

Mack and company were lazy recruiting the last few years and managed the roster poorly (see Sumlin, Kevin; OL and LB). The cupboard was imbalanced with some good players and some that were soft.

Charlies first two full years of recruiting have got us conservatively with two top 12 classes. Freshmen and sophomores. Look for the trend to go upward starting this season more likely towards the end.

Live it up believing Strong's an idiot and Texas will never be good again while it's all smooth sailing for you in the bottom half of the SEC. It's your last summer of delusion for awhile.

Texas A&M being in the SEC has a huge,bright future. Preliminary actuarial evaluations tiered across a spectrum of financial projections show Texas A&M being a vital and intrical role in the advancing the SEC and more important, the SEC media network.

Sure, Texas A&M is going through growing pains in competing in football in the SEC West after swinging a 2x4 against our heads in their initial season. Across the board, the Texas A&M athletic program is developing into a complete asset, very similar to the University of Florida. The results speak volumes in the Directors Cup this year.

Alabama is good in football for now. We'll be good as long as we have Saban. Bama fears a return to a coach like the 3 Mikes( Dubose, Price, and Shula). Most of all, we fear the acension of Texas A&M as a major force as an athletic program, particularly in football.

Why?

Texas A&M has the recruiting base, the facilities and the support for the entire University across the board.
Alabama envies what Texas A&M has to be blunt.

Texas A&M will be great for the SEC financially and has exceeded all expectations from day one.

The SEC has the correct Texas school.
