'88 Bronco II bought in '97 with 150k miles. I loved it, but I had to replace the engine and then several minor problems made me sell it. Was lots of fun and repairs were cheap. I wish I would have kept it.

'95 Dodge Ram bought in '99 with 60k miles. The 5.2L felt worn out by 85k miles.

'97 Ford Thunderbird bought in 2000 with 38k miles. Was really nice to drive and easy to mod since it shared a powertrain with the Mustang GT. Totalled Christmas eve 2004 crossing the Nueces river bridge in a snow storm when a pickup driver tried to pass me and clipped my front end when he moved over in front of me. Spun the car around on the bridge, got straightened out but slid sideways into the wall.

'01 F-150 Screw bought in '04 with 74k miles. Put on another 100k. The only major problem was needing the front end rebuilt at 160k. Had a minor transmission problem at 150k and had a soft rebuild done as a precaution since my mechanic was already in there.

'11 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T (current car). Bought new in 2011, currently at 88k miles. Drives nice and has lots of power for what it is, no major problems yet.

Edit to add

2001 Triumph TT600 motorcycle bought new in 2002, put 16k miles on it. Stolen in 2007.

91 Nissan Sentra - good little car for me. If I had anything more powerful, I probably would have killed myself considering I pegged that POS a few times.

98 Ford F-150 Extended Cab Flare Side XLT 4.6L- Years or mowing lawns, landscaping and babysitting my sister netted me this bad boy. MY parents threw in money from a Ford CC. Drove to 145k miles. I still miss it and wish I hadn't sold it.

00 Ford Exploder Eddie Bauer 5.0. Terrible POS.

2008 Nissan Altima SL. Loved this car. Rear ended and totalled at 62k miles.

2008 Hyundai Veracruz - Love this car as well. Getting 22MPG combined over the life. Bought with 45k mi in Oct 2010 and I have 85k on it now. Hope to run it to 200k+.

2011 Kia Optima - completely decked out with Nav, AC seats, etc. This is my wife's car. We bought new in Sept 2011 and it has 23k miles on it now.
We have 63k on the Optima and 145k on the Veracruz. Both running great.

Also added:

2000 Mazda Miata Special Edition. Fun car to drive, needs more power, though.

I think to put this more in perspective we need a vehicle to age ratio of some sort.

Option 1

Number of vehicles owned over age.

Mine would be 9 over 24 for a vehicle:age ratio of 0.375

Option 2

option 2 adds in some "cool" factor with a point system. Points over age.

Points could be awarded something along the lines of:

4 door car - 1 point

2 door car - 2 points

SUV - 3 points

Truck - 3 points

minivan - -1 point

Bonus points on top of the above points:

4x4 - 2 points

Pre 1980 - 2 points

Muscle car category - 2 points

Rice burner muffler - - 2 points

Lowered truck- -2 points

(the options here are endless)

My score in option 2: 42 points over 24 years of age = 1.75 "cool" ratio

93 Red Chevy Stepside-Had the red flame ARE wheels w/50s, Alpine deck

94 BlackChevy Camaro-V6 which was a good thing (see below)

96 Green Mustang GT-Had this for 6 months until I outran local law enforcement (small town), they had a not so nice talk with my grandfather and had to trade it in

95 GMC Stepside-Teal green

89 Chevy LWB Single cab-Blew the stock 305 so I decided to amp it up. Dropped a 383 stroker from All Chevy Engines in it and never changed the computer chip. Shattered a piston shortly thereafter due to lack of fuel from the system. Had same company rebuild it, blueprints sent to JET and a custom chip made for this truck. Ran like a scalded ass ape. Twisted 2 aluminum driveshafts off, busted bell housing, rear end destroyed. Replaced everything with custom made parts, shattered another piston 6 months later. Spanked a lot of GT'S & Z28's with that truck.

01 Chevy Crew Z71

06 Ford F250 6.0L-Nice truck, crap engine

11 GMC Crew Z71

14 GMC Crew Denali
