1973 F100 in 1981- Work truck my dad said was too beat up for the crews, but just right for a 15 year old.
1980 F150 in 1982 - Dad got this for me to replace other truck. SWB, but I thought I needed 4x4.
1982 J-10 Jeep Truck at Christmas 1982 - Dad made alot of money wiring drilling rigs, so he told me to choose my present. I could have bought anything, but found this in Midland sitting on blocks at the dealership. Engine jumped time at 44k. Rebuilt engine, lifted and drove until I got out of A&M.
1940 Ford Truck in 1987 - Me and my dad chopped a truck and painted it red. We started this project in 1980. 302 with auto and ac. Nice little truck, but all of the body work was bondo and red oxide primer. The bodywork started to crack so we sold it in 1990. I started a 1948 Ford 2-dr sedan and still need to finish it.
1989 C3500 Supercab in 1989 - I had to have a 454. Good solid truck.
1987 K5 Blazer 4x4 in 1993 - Bought this crashed for wife. Put on a new front end and drove until the wife had kid #1. Had to get rid of this one because it was tall and she is not. Too hard to get the baby in and out.
1995 K3500 Crew-cab in late 1995 - 454, red with new interior. Had to get back in a 4x4.
1995 S-10 4 dr Blazer in 1995 - Traded wife's K-5 Blazer for this one. Good fuel economy. Should have kept this one.
1997 K3500 Crew-cab in late 1997 - Traded a 1995 45K truck because I had to have that new vortec engine and red leather. Bad, bad, bad! The engine always lost coolant and the chevy house could not figure it out. I went from 14 mpg truck to this 10 mpg one. At 85k, the intake gasket started leaking externally. Found out the gasket had been misaligned and had been washing down on cylinder since new.
2000 F250 4x4 Crew-cab in 2000 - Finally got a Powerstroke. First stick and hated it. Loved the Powerstroke. Made a work truck out of it. I would still have it, but my banker decided I needed to sell it, the SOB, in 2006.
2001 GMC Yukon XL in 2001 - Traded our S-10 Blazer, because there was not enough room for the traveling circus with kid #2. What a POS. Poor - performance, fuel economy, ride, fuel pumps ...
2002 F350 4x4 Crew-cab in 2002 - Current driver. I love the 7.3 L powerstroke. No problems, with regular maintenance.
2006 Chevy HHR in late 2005 - Kick ass little car. I love the retro 48 chevy carry-all styling. I only has a 4 banger, but it gets 29 mpg and is comfortable for me, 6'3" and 290, to drive. Got rid of the POS Yukon XL for this cream puff.
Next - I don't see anything I need. Am I getting old?
