Brightened up the pic and rotated … torture the data and it will talk to you … looks a little more sinister. Also, touched the "look up" function in the apple photo app and it identified it as a water moccasin.

Ok, we've been in this house 25 years & never seen a coral snake, then our dog takes out 3 in the past 12 months, y'all said could be coincidence..well he got #4 tonight. Am I missing something, under pool filter/heater or what should I look for?

I wasn't there, thought it sounded like a stretch from that pic, but he said it went by an 8' utility trailer we have off the driveway for reference..
BIL also said, the snake didn't want to give up its spot on the driveway and shook its tail like it had an actual rattle ...
Not surprising. Harmless rat snake trying to act tough.

Another beautiful snake coming into the yard from Barker Reservoir. Luckily saved it from the JRT... this time.
First we have seen in 12 years.
We have seen PB, BB and YB watersnakes, 1 coral snake, 1 copperhead, lots of water moccasins and now the speckled king.

Mills county. The original poster of this photo on Facebook has a place a couple miles from our property in mills county. That area received 6-8" of rain last night. Rattlesnake was seeking high and dry ground!
Just caught a quick glimps of this approximately 3-4' snake going across my back porch. Small head but need help identifying if I should worry about the kids and dog.
