My son got a headset for Christmas. I just used it. WOW. What a huge difference over the TV speakers. Being able to tell directions of sound is awesome and there's a lot of smaller sounds I've been missing out on.

I got one as well. It really is crazy how many sounds I miss without the headset on. Someone threw a grenade at me and I didn't see it, then it blew up right in front of me. Scared the **** out of me

I just got the standard Xbox headset. (Not the one that comes with the Xbox) it's not the best sound in the world but can't beat $40

All my funny BF1 happenings involve horses for some reason. I was going for the kill, but somehow managed to make my horse land ON the other horse. Just couldn't stick the landing.

So... I have some birthday money heading my way soon.

Any headset recommendations? Don't want to break the bank, but the cheapo MS Xbox over-ear headset isn't cutting it. Don't care if they're wireless. Just need a good microphone so people will stop *****ing at me for being too quiet.

7 best headsets per IGN

I can speak for the Astro A50s and the Microsoft over-ear headphones that are roughly 60 bucks. I thought both were good, the microsoft headset obviously can give you ear fatigue after an hour or so.
