Could be. There's speculation that the shadow in the teaser is a zeppelin, and there's the zeppelin in the other image as well -- and the Hindenburg crash happened on MAY 6, 1937.

Just thinking about it, this game sounds awesome! The alternate history does make sense. The weapons will probably more advanced than they were in reality to fit the pace of the Battlefield series. Probably why we haven't seen a WWII Call of Duty because the pace has gotten so much faster in multiplayer.

I'm looking forward to this. When they were playing the 1942 theme song I was hoping for WW2, but I can definitely live with this.

Yes. They've consistently gotten worse with the limited content available at release, and then they make you buy DLC later if you want to enjoy what should have been part of the full game. Just look at Star Wars Battlefront.
