I'm still very much enjoying BF4. I'm not sure what I want in the next one, but I absolutely hate using iron sights, so I don't think I will enjoy a WW2 shooter so much.

Agreed. BF4 is the best FPS game I have ever played and I have been pleasantly surprised at how many people are still playing 30 months after launch. I am really interested to see where they are taking the series for BF5.

Failing that, anything that's a modern day or even 214X series would be fine with me.

I haven't played Battlefield since a couple months after BF4 came out, but for some reason I'm really anticipating this one. I'm also thinking I'll play it on console, which I've never done, but I'm trying to avoid PC gaming altogether these days.

I think that at times, the console releases have actually been less buggy than the PC versions, as well.

I'm really looking forward to the reveal tomorrow. I assume that the game will come out this fall or early winter.

I'm guessing this game is actually a soccer game chronicling the famous Christmas Eve truce matches between the two sides along the Western Front during WWI.

Not sure. Read that part of the article and don't see an explanation.

I think it's safe to assume that it will have to be alternate history/semi-futuristic to make WW1 viable as a BF game.
