Sq. 17 pots were black w/ a white athletic tape 17 on the front for the fish year, then blue with a 17 soph - Sr.

Sq. 16 is yellow on black, with various pull-outs all over.

Spider D. Was black and white, with a spider on the front.

I think C-2 was green on purple, with a big snake on the front

That's all I remember for now...

They all had I - IV on the back to indicate class year and an ample supply of grode on the inside liner to share with buddies during lunch break.

P-2 Tridents were right half blue, left half yellow/gold with a trident on the front and the class year on the side painted in the opposite color of that half. Class year was on the back in roman numerals and usually some sort of class saying/grode saying on the yellow/gold side.

Found a Krueger pot. Not a picture, but in the "Bonfire Remembrance" video.
http://stingray.tamu.edu/football/movies/index.htm

It's at ~2:15 mark.

White, black lettering, green cross on left side, "Krueger" on front, and I didn't see the right side.

Too Tall 06 found a picture showing light blue pots with pink letters. I know Briggs colors were light blue and pink, so maybe that was a Briggs crew we saw??

If anyone knows please tell me. I'm in an on going quest to bring some spirit to this hall.

The Crocker pot is easy to recognize. It is on the guy who is cutting more, loading it faster, and stacking it higher than anyone else.

I hope this is helpful.

I don't know whether to laugh or whoop so I'll do both! Haas Hall Honeys is right and I cannot say how much it cracks me up to read our grode yell here after all these years. WHOOP!

Our pots were green with gold lettering.

Wasn't Lechner technically supposed to be "oxnard" orange, but they quit making it or something?

I cut with Underwood in 1996 and 1997. I was the dorm chair in 1997. We were the Underwood Devils but our pots were blue and green. Will dig it out of the garage if I need to post a picture. We didn't have horns on it then. The dorm chair from 1995 and 1996 taught us how to make the pots. I do know that in 1998 the hall council (big time bible beaters) changed the dorm name to the Untouchables.

Hope this helps!

Maybe an Old Ag (older than me) can dig out their old Aggieland and see if there are pics that show the Underwood pots.

Seems like Eppright was green with white crossed axes or something like that.

Edit: nevermind, I'm thinking of Appelt

So I have gone into the attic and dusted off a few photo albums. Underwood cut with Appelts for several years. Yellow pot for Appelt was...yellow. Two other pots (my mind is fading...I think one was called the grode pot) were green with white axes. All other Appelt boys were white with green axes. Ialso found pictures of a Dunn pot that was white and green. This he was the grode pot but don't remember! I also found pictures of the Appelt pots...Sophomore leadership (yellow pots, etc...) wore these tacky green bowling shirts with tan collars. I wish I knew more, but spent my years at cut with Appelt.

sharklady00

Hell Yeah!

If you only knew...sniffle sniffle. We loved those guys! Appelt had 3 pots in charge.

I noticed you changed Underwood. It was an off-centered cross. When wearing the pot, the cross starts above left eye and extends to back. Other line extends from ear to ear.

I really, really wish there were digital cameras (affordable ones) back then (1996). I would love to post these pics (and not hassle with a scanner!)

It would be even better if you had pics from 2007.

So, I am digging through my 1997 Aggieland.

This post if for you old Ags.

1. Wonderful 1 page article for Greg White.
2. Mosher had their own dorm log.
3. Most all Male dorm pics involved axe handles, most boys in boxers or just their pots and axe handles.
4. Most all girl dorms had pots on or in their pictures (and matching shirts!)
5. Did I mention naked boys? HA HA
6. Wells was called the Wells Republic, Rudder Riders...and Eppright isn't even in the Aggieland
7. McFadden wore shirts that said, "Flirting is life..."
8...and favorite is the Crocker Cocks picture and the 2 page spread they got...probably because all 40+ in the picture are only in boxers and the front row has "No Frats! '00" on their chest. Each kid had a different letter! Crocker was named Recycling Champs for the 13th year in a row. Who said Bonfire boys don't care about the environment! HA HA HA!

OK, so there is your stroll down memory lane!
