I understand all of this because I'm a fan of all those aforementioned teams.

Just don't take it so seriously. I take the joy of the highs they all provide and I don't wallow in the lows. In soccer, most teams don't win any trophies. I'm football, only 4 teams go to the playoffs. In baseball, the Rangers don't win hahaha.

I accepted that a long time ago.

Sleepy early derby out of the IB, glad to take the 3 pts and move on. Beautiful assist from Darwin on the breakaway to Salah for the clincher.

To be clear the "debating getting out of bed" wasn't due to depression or anything, just "would be nice to sleep in rather than getting up at the Crack of dawn like normal.

Struggle of a win but great assist by Darwin. Love the fact that the crowd was chanting for him after the goal before singing for Mo.

Also my son came down about 645 and snuggled with me on the couch and we watched the game in the dark with the sound just barely on. Out of nowhere he says "MO Salah has 5 goals this season."

"How'd you know that?"

"I read it."

Finally got caught up - I had to teach this morning. Glad to see we found a way to win despite the game being ugly. On one hand it's nice to get a man advantage but on the other I know how much we struggle breaking down a low block.

Can I just say I do love Sean Dyche? His teams don't play beautiful football but I think he's a good leader and a great personality to have for a scrappy team hanging into the league (which apparently is now Everton's permenant situation).

I'm able to watch it on DirectTV Stream, but apparently it's only available in Spanish. Good thing I've been using Duolingo.

I've decided I need more Wataru Endo in my life. Klopp likes playing Mac at the 6 in the PL, but he gets his pocket picked twice a game because he dwells on the ball. Endo is a one-touch forward-passing machine. The minute the ball hits his foot he is looking to release a forward or advanced midfielder up the field. I also love his physical approach to the game. Sometimes he is a bit overly aggressive, but he can absolutely dominate the midfield with his energy and counter pressing.

I'd like to see us try Endo at the 6 and Mac at the 8. I think the pair of them would work perfectly together. Endo would basically be releasing Mac into space on the counter attack, which would be absolutely deadly.

It's almost enough for me to root for Madrid in Champ League. At least then no one else is getting another trophy and I'd seriously put him on top of ballon dor if he keeps this up.
