Today I learned those exist. I think one of those conversion places would be able to make one into a pretty sweet wagon but who knows what the cost would be.

I was amazed more by the brilliance of these colors than anything else. Andnthere were TWO of.them. The wheels/hubcaps were impressive, too.

The pictured car isn't as crazy as the situation was. I went like 3-4 weeks and saw about half a dozen of these early '80s Firebirds 2 years or so ago. The first one was a guy who showed up as a roadside! Didn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence, but he did correctly diagnose a starter issue. Then, I saw the one pictured here (it was by far the best kept one of the bunch). I saw at least 2 more on the road and another one parked that I took a pic of and uploaded to FB (can't find it now).

I seriously thought someone was playing a gag on me but couldn't figure out how they knew where I'd be.

Edit: here's one of the other ones. I obviously didn't take a pic of the roadside guy's car, though he might have been flattered had I done so!
