I'm considering running a Bracket pool for the CWS to raise money for the MS Society, but I wanted to gauge some interest first. It would be a $20 buy in, $10 goes to the MS Society (as a part of my MS150 Fundraising) and $10 to the overall pool. I have a few interested over on KillerFrogs, thought I'd see if any Texaggers would want to join in as well.

Fun fact, since nothing like this exists...we are kinda making it up here.

For the scoring, this is what I came up with:
~Scoring Seeds are worth their own number of points + The round they are in. For example, Pick a 4 seed to win Regionals, you get 5 points
~In Super Regionals, the four seed would be worth 6 points
~Each correct team going to Omaha is worth 3 points + their seed value.
~Each game in Omaha is worth 4 points + Seed value
~Championship winner is worth 10 points + Seed value
~Tie breakers are based first on guessing whether or not there will be an extra game. If bracket scores remain tied, the total runs for each team during the Championship series will be used to determine the winner.

Not at all! You can still fill out your bracket up until the first pitch of the first regional game.

PSA:

Make sure you note that The 1 Seed and 2 seed are on opposite sides of the Omaha bracket. Teams do NOT get reseeded before Omaha.

So if the top 8 seeds all made it to Omaha it would look like this:

Bracket A starts with 1)UCLA vs 8)Missouri St and 4)Florida vs 5)Miami

Bracket B starts with 2)LSU vs 7) TCU and 3) Louisville vs 6) Illinois

Pony, you aren't the only one. Everyone is having this issue and I'm not sure how it happened.

I have taken off all of the protected ranges in the document..can someone try real quick and see if it will work now? I've contacted google about it. I think someone may have messed with the protection settings yesterday at 1am.

If I can't get this fixed, you can just email me your final bracket and I will add it in. If I can get it fixed by removing all of the protections, I mentioned this on Killer Frogs, but if I were to catch someone tampering with someone else's bracket, they would be disqualified and signed up for cat facts. It would be really uncool.

Trying to finish mine now. How do we know what rankings our teams will be placed in at Omaha? I am not certain on that part. I know they carry over, but from what?

Teams are not reseeded, so if you have a team bear a national seed that team slips into that seed spot

Bracket a is 1vs8 and 3vs6
Bracket B is 2vs7 and 4vs5
