I'm sure somebody hung up the memo in my office but it was likely torn down before I could read it.
So with "No more excuses" as Charlie's 6th core value, I can't wait to hear his post game press conferences to hear him explain losses.
It can't be "we just werent ready" or "we just didn't make plays" or "we didn't coach good enough" as those are all excuses.

steve, how do you reconcile "no more excuses" with "just let me get through spring ball first"?
Charlie keeps saying over & over that your horn players don't work hard enough, haven't bought in, and don't have enough pride in being longhorns. The last one is understandable. After all, when you're a 3-or-4 touchdown doormat to byu, baylor, tcu, okie, kstate, okie st, and arky, what's there to be proud of? But about those first two:
- Strong & his staff have been there for 14 months. Isn't it their job to get the players to work hard and buy in?
- If your horn players aren't working hard enough, like Charlie has repeatedly whined, then does that mean the entitled country club attitude is still pervasive throughout your program?
5 Core Values isn't enough? You gotta have a motto too? What about a theme for this year? What is tu dedicating this year to? None of these things are gimmicks
Can someone paraphrase his mumbling for me? I can't stomach watching or listening to his presser.

Every press conference Strong gives, he tells everyone his plan of tricking his players, and coaches, into being a confident group.
How does anyone actually listen to this guy speak while realizing what he's responsible for and think "yeah, he's got this under control"?

No more excuses for the players, but unlimited excuses for the coaches. Though the coaches seem to be relying heavily on blaming the players for all their failures.
