I get married on September 29th and will be in Munich as a part of my Honeymoon from Sept 30th - Oct 4. We will be with two German friends at Oktoberfest on the 2nd. I legit can't wait, this is a dream bucket list item for me.

Go during the weekday. The weekend is way, way too crowded.

The best tents are Augustiner, Hofbrau, and Hacker Pschorr.

If you see someone walking around in a straw cowboy hat with different Oktoberfest pins in it then you have found me. Stop and say howdy.

Also there is a Cafe/Bar Pub I go to (along with some other Ags) near the train station called The Shakespeare:

If you are going tomorrow, you don't necessarily have to be there so early.

I went Pschorr Braurosl tent on Saturday, and it was quite good. After 10:15

on Saturday, it was hard to get a seat.

The best tent is Augustiner as far as beer taste goes, then Hacker-Pschorr, then Paulaner or Hofbrau.

Try a Wiesnhendl( Oktoberfest Chicken ) and a Schweinebraten.

I drove up Friday and saw many Americans, but no Ags. The Hacker Pschorr tent was a lot

of fun. After 5 Mass, we almost got in a fight. At that point, it was time to go home.

Went on my honeymoon this year and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever been apart of. We were with our German friends and we had tables reserved in the Pschorr-Braurosl tent. I absolutely loved every moment of it. Everything from the food, the beer, atmosphere, songs and people where all amazing. It was a bucket list item for me and it exceeded my expectations.
