There was nothing wrong with that slide. The fielder was right in front of the bag. Correct call to leave the runner at first.

So you review the play to determine whether it's a double play due to the slide. You come out of the replay signaling out. But it's only the original out you already called. The MLB is so dumb.

Astros fan here. Still hate the whole NL Central. Haven't grown to hate the AL West yet except for the Rangers. I think mainly because the first 2 years the Astros were in the AL we couldn't watch them on TV. I'll get over it one day maybe.

I also still hate tu, tech, and Baylor so maybe not.
