That is how it works for everyone else. I had to have open roster spots last week to fill all my NA spots.

I don't really have the ability to do anything other than what Yahoo allows.

If a player gets called up to the major leagues, they are no longer considered "NA", just like if a player comes off the disabled list, they are no longer considered "DL", so you would need to drop someone off your 25 man roster to continue to carry them.

If it's just too much of a burden, I'll trade you for Mazara.



On the transaction limit, picking up 3 free agents during the week doesn't seem too unrealistic. Moving Mazara up to the major league roster and dropping a bench guy doesn't count towards the number, I believe it is only added players. But like always, we will monitor it throughout the season and adjust as needed.

3 isn't enough, commish. I think we should fix it now, take a league vote, etc.

If we're taking a league vote, I think 3 transactions per week is adequate. The point is to make it so people aren't adding and dropping people through the week to get extra starts and to instead have your team be your team with minor tweaks through the year like calling people up and filling gaps left by injuries.

I understand not wanting teams to stream players. Completely get that.

With that said, I do not think it makes sense nor is it realistic to penalize teams who have to activate a minor league player who has been called up by forcing them to drop someone on their 25 to replace that minor league player.

If we aren't going to up the transactions would it be a compromise to just have the commish place a minor league player who is available on our roster?

That way you keep the 3 transactions in place and limit this process to refilling your minor league ranks.

Again this usually isn't an issue because most leagues have AB and IP thresholds but if we aren't going to do that, or Yahoo makes so you can't, we really need to find a way not to ding teams who have a call they have to activate off the NA/minors list.

Pretty terrible trade offer looking back at it. My bad. I really wanted bullpen help, but you didn't have a ton. Kluber is still the best piece so I picked (way too much) young talent to make up for it.

Yea, that's up to Yahoo when they get loaded into their system. Not really a better way to handle it than the waiver wire due to the nature of the amateur draft.

That's what would make sense to me. The top pick could either take the best prospect out there, or the best player that wasn't kept.
