Saw a comment in an article that compared how we're using Amen Thompson similar to how Golden State uses Draymond Green. Have Amen set a screen, get him the ball heading toward the rim to either finish or pass to an open guy. It's been highly effective since he's such an explosive finisher and crafty passer, plus his defense is already elite.

This is the most fun I've had watching the Rockets in a long time. A LONG time.
It feels like Tari and Cam would be thriving in this offense as well with the spacing. I love Sengun and think he is an elite talent. We really need him to be able to play at the top of the key at times and be a 3pt threat, similar to Jokic. It's obvious the open spacing in the lane has maximized the offensive opportunities for the elite athletes we have on the team (been clear with Amen and Jalen - I suspect Cam and Tari would thrive as well).
Hopefully Sengun focuses on that in the offseason.

Warriors have clinched tie breaker. Rockets could still get tie breaker over Lakers based on conference record. At this point, best strategy is to win every game

After he was drafted, Spurs set up a dinner with Duncan, Manu, Robinson and Elliott and he was apparently asking them how he can make sure to get 8-9 hours of sleep on road trips. Elliott said most guys ask what clubs to go to in different cities.

Takes me back to the year the Rockets had the 22-game win streak while Yao was out hurt. Not just winning, beating the **** out of people. Average margin of victory on this streak is 13.7 points per game.
Lost 3 straight to hit 25-34 on February 29th and were 7-1/2 games behind LA, 7 games behind Golden State and 1-1/2 games behind Utah.
11-1 since then, the Jazz are in effin free fall, 7.5 behind Houston, 1/2 game back of Golden State, 3 games back of LA.
And 3-1 vs. the potential top-seeded Nuggets this year

Lakers won in Milwaukee last night, even though they were trailing by 15+ in the fourth. Officials definitely fixed this game. Bucks had 26 fouls, the lakers only had 13. Bucks shot 17 free throws at home and the Lakers shot 32 on the road.
We have to catch GS because the league won't let Lebron dip out of the playoffs. It would be too much of a dent in his fragile ego.
