How does that help people see? If everyone is on the "wood" then everyone can see just as well as if everyone is on the concrete.
We have the dumbest people running our athletic program. Don't make up stupid lies about why you want us to do something.

It's obvious the people running the department are Hillary supporters.

"Plus, if we are all standing on the concrete on the row our tickets are assigned to, we don't have to screw up the War Hymn by yelling left and right each and every time. Odd rows go left, even rows go right, stop yelling and just sing and sway in the proper direction."
olds are all still going to go right 1st

The problem with the "New Tradition" is that its kinda quietly coming down as a mandate. It really wasn't discussed with all parties. If we don't fight for this tradition, at least on principle, then all of our traditions lose a little importance. Incremental change is the downfall of most organizations.
There is traction being gained to fight this...and yeah, good luck getting students to comply. This was obviously a design flaw on the renovation and they just need to fix that. To eliminate a long standing tradition for the entire stadium because of a few affected seats is not a reasonable response imho.

Look guys, the architect screwed up big time. The non-Aggies we hired underestimated how passionate students are for football. They didn't take into account that the 12th Man is so red-ass that it will stand on the bleacher in front of them to get as close to the action as possible. And we love the passion you guys have for the team.
But because of the architect's oversight, we now have some seats in a section of the club and suites that can't see as well when yall are going crazy in the stands. The Ags in those sections paid a $#!+load of money for their seats which helped us to build the stadium, and we'd really like to give them a good experience for their money. So we would like to ask, not demand, that students in the first __ rows of section __ on the second deck to please stand on the concrete as a courtesy to the Ags that paid so much for their seats and are helping to fund the athletic department. We will be adjusting ticket pull in the future to allow students to request bench standing instead of concrete standing in the future. Please help us to avoid having to enter into costly litigation with the architect to try to find a structural solution to students being so red-ass. Thanks and Gigem.
