1. LSU-long history and we stole The Chief and some recruits. And Miles is the Mad Hatter of play-calling.

2. Arkansas-another long history and it's in JerryWorld where more hog fans can attend the games.

3. South Carolina because we'll see them every year and Spur-dog is pissed at us after last year. He'll ratchet the verbiage up for us while he's still there. (You can't spell Birmingham Bowl without "A" and "M".)

4. Bama because Saban versus Sumlin and taking ten years off of Saban's life. (Yeah, 59-0 salved that wound a little. But Saban will never sleep on a Sumlin team.)

5. Auburn because Malzahn and Muschamp versus Sumlin and The Chief. Clash of coaching strengths.

I guess I just don't understand this obsession with a "rival". Like mentioned above everyone in the SECW is a rival and automatic sellout. I guess beat LSU once or a couple times in a row and it will take off with the media and LSU lack of a real rival.

It is true though. Our identity was and should be on beating the hell outta t.u.

Now our identity is based on claiming the victories of others in our conference. "but, but, but SEC West!" That's our new identity.

Bring back the rivalry that made A&M what we know and love.

We're still a few good games away from our game with LSU being bigger than theit game with Alabama, I think.

And yes, I am aware that Alabama's primary rival is Auburn.

We play LSU on rivalry week. We have played Arkansas more times that any other conference rival. Seems to me we start with those two.

Your rivals schedule regular games with you. Must be either teams in the SEC West, Carolina, or Rice...

Though Sam Houston would love to be on our payroll, but that isn't what rivalry is about.

Texas hasn't realized any form of comeuppance for their leadership in helping us focus on SEC teams as rivals. You don't want to schedule them on their terms and they have to believe the continuing series benefits them which generally means they're dictating how things work. Spend a couple of decades in the SEC and become very good at football first...

News flash: we don't have a rival.

And for all the people saying it's the Longhorns, just FYI current students and recent graduates (since joining the SEC) really don't espouse hostility towards them anymore. If anything the most hated BDF team amongst young Ags is Baylor.
