Does the free premium subscription give you access to PM? I currently pay for basic so I can PM, but wondering if I can cancel that for a year.

I just looked at it and on the free student membership you do have a PM box and can hit compose a message, I didn't actually try and send one though but it looks like you can.

Not really sure what the problem is here on either side.
1. Folks with stars worried about Premium becoming the zoo (which in fact does suk at times); it's read only and they can't post.
2. Former students; while it may stick in your craw that it wasn't free when you were a student, where does TA draw the line? At least y'all got to go to A&M. Folks already counted as Formers and are graduating later this month, that's an issue being addressed.

Graduate students should now officially be able to access Premium for free.
For those who don't have an account or an Ag Tag yet, follow the instructions on this page.
For those who do already have an Ag Tag, follow these steps to refresh your status:
1) Go to your Account Settings
2) Click "Refresh Status..." next to Ag Tag under your Account Verifications.
3) Log out and log back in.
4) Rejoice.
