18 out of our 22 starters were jr's or sr's so 2 years from then meant an entirely new team... right now our best players are underclassmen so it actually means something to say "next year"

Yeah and we will have one great win, 2 big lisses and end up in the middle of the SEC West as alwats. And then all the pumpers will say, Wait til next year. Just so much bull.

The only substantive difference is that we used to have to pump up a lot of 2 and 3 star "diamonds in the rough", whereas now we should at least be good on paper.

I don't think D. Mack's chances of actually signing at A&M are all that great.
One of the following will have to happen:
1. We beat LSU convincingly.
2. We play Texas in a bowl game and win in a shutout/blowout. If it is close, he is gone.
3. We fire Snyder and get Muschamp.
If we don't do one of these things, this years defensive class will bail. We are most likely to accomplish #2.

How about just being decent human beings and not viewing these kids as your entertainment and gateway to bragging rights over what is nothing more than intermural competition? It's just not necessary. Players do read these boards, as many have confirmed.
