If this was it, CS is really strict about enforcement of the noise ordinances in neighborhoods, and I have no problem with that. If they had made an exception for him or the rest of the team, there would still be a story in it, just a different take.

How about the 20 year olds out there that have given up on the thought of even going to college because parents are dead, jobless, etc and they need to help earn for the family. There are tons of them out there, and do you think. they'd mind walking in his shoes for a bit? I'm sure it's a PITA to be under the microscope and I legitimately have sympathy for the loss of privacy;however, get some perspective for goodness sake. And it's not like he doesnt encourage the spotlight at times.

No one is devouring him. The guy is screwing up royally and I wish him the best. But as someone above pointed out it is not this one tweet but all if them and his actions in general. Manziel thinks he is above it all. He is not. And he would be much better off if someone were to let him know that.

Funny thing about people complaining about the police. I went to school at A&M and drank like crazy but somehow never had a run in with them.

its funny to read the hind sight filed responses typed out over coffee and Bel- Vita cookies. should have he said it in my opinion no. But then again I'm 27 I just woke up and I don't have the weight of a whole university fan base on my shoulders. To those saying that they would have never acted the way he acted get a clue reading half of the responses on here over the years all the dumb BS typed out about what you did in college what you're currently doing college what you're doing after college I think and that's without the Stardom and fame what the hell were you going to do when you had every girl every guy everyon constantly hollering your name, waiting to get a picture, chicks that you never would have gotten with always wanted to be with you? right now I'm looking at TV and there's a header saying Menzel future every move this kid makes it documented. How many other athletes are scrutinized as much as he is, professional nonetheless? Does he need to tone it down in the social media life yes, but don't act all high and mighty when you know and I know that anyone of us given an opportunity to have free reign over almost anything we wanted, don't act like you wouldn't take it. Fame and stardom and immense talent are great to posses. People need to get off Mount Pious and worry about their own lives. A&M has a great reputation among people that matter and the idiot masses who base their opinion on one person don't matter. Johnny is a vocal guy who isn't going to change who he is for a bunch of media. I commend him for that and the good he has done for our school far outweighs the "bads" some people demand to string him up for.
