Anybody try this service? I must say; I love it. Ordering from a downtown office, the driver has typically already arrived by the time I can catch an elevator downstairs.

It's a limited menu, but pretty good food from some pretty good restaurants.

If it's the driver I'm thinking of she pre-orders a bunch in the morning and sits downtown outside your building (a friend uses this daily and raves about it).

I'll have to try this.

We use the Waitr app and its pretty nice because of the restaurant selection. Great for not leaving the house and having other options besides pizza and chinese.

Unlike Favor, UberEats has no delivery fee or tipping. The longest I've waited has been 8 minutes. Granted, the menu selection is very small.

Did this today. Got 3 little bigs sliders and a bag of chips for $8 and in 4 minutes. Highly recommend and will be using this service again.

I have not been charged any delivery fees in about three weeks of use. Perhaps, Uber is trying to get market share and foregoing delivery fees at this time. Or maybe not.

Tried this today for lunch and it was great!

Ordered while making my way downstairs and the driver was waiting on me outside. Just $9 for an order of Brennan's shrimp gumbo, rice, and cornbread.

The portion size was a bit small, but in trying to cutback a bit I'm not going to complain too much.

I'll be doing this more often.

Of that makes sense, I've only tried it for dinner and on the weekends.

I work right by the lot where the drivers get loaded up with the food on their deliveries. It's on Washington. I just walked over there and asked if I could Uber order directly from them and walk back to my office with lunch. Nope. I have to physically be located in their delivery area. A guy in my office routinely drives downtown (past their lot) to meet the driver on a street and pick up his lunch. Great system, but not flexible!

Just did this in the galleria area. Tried unsuccessfully to order the gyro platter five times but kept getting an error message ... I guess it was sold out. Went with the korean pork belly stew from underbelly. It was goood.

Weird, if I move the pin over by the galleria the ubereats icon pops up. Maybe there is none in upper kirby/GWP right now.

That lasagna was damn good though. Probably some of the best I've had. Uber eats is legit. I find myself getting it a couple times a week at the office for lunch.
