New one for me tonight. Just saw John Singleton and a lady friend at Kroger @ Shepherd and 11th.

Probably takes the top spot for least relevant Houston athlete that I've seen in person and actually recognized.

Former first place was probably David Wesley buying an ironing board at Target a day after a mid season trade to the Rockets.

Gary Brown showed up at my middle school basketball game back in the day.

Played softball with David Wesley. Only a couple of people ever recognized who he was. He brought out mcgrady one week and everybody swarmed. Wesley played with us for a while and was a good guy. Mcgrady was cool with is on the team. Not so much with the people swarming around him.

Other one was Jose Lima at glenbrook golf course. Played in front of us and picked up our lunch at the turn.

Larry Anderson made a guest appearance at our little league baseball send off party at the old pizza hut on Fry Rd.

It was pretty memorable!

Craig Reynolds was on the pastoral staff of Second Baptist Church in the years we attended that church, so I saw him on several occasions.

I believe it was Robert Reid I saw at a Luby's in Sugar Land way back in the late 80s.

Bob Sura drunk running around at the rodeo cookoff was pretty irrelevant. Had two blondes on each arm.
I think this was probably '05 or '06.

Speaking of rodeo, Jeff Bagwell was in our cookoff tent a few years ago when I was cooking. No mrs hand doctor around.

Saw Biggio at Galleria Costco a few years ago. Super nice guy, actually ran into my with a flat bed cart with about 15-20 cases of wine.

Got him to autograph a business card that I have i since lost.
