The Battle of the Basturds, GOTs S6E9, was probably the best medieval battle I have seen depicted. Idk the exact length of the battle, but the runtime shown was a marathon for the viewer, like 15-20 mins. (In comparison to Braveheart, the longest one was like 8 mins.) The battle played out like Rome vs the Gauls, phalanx vs barbarians.

I am appalled I left out Lone Survivor on my original list.

If we're counting medieval and fantasy, we've pretty much got to give it to the LOTR trilogy, no?

so I had never seen Enemy at the Gates so I decided to watch it since it's one of the few mentioned here that I have not seen and....

it is ****ing terrible

but I just wanted to add that if you haven't seen Restrepo and Korengal you need to go watch them
