Pretty much this. I like mcbride, but his deal is wearing thin.

And he was not in 90% of his episode. Hopefully that means we get a Goggins centric episode in exchange.

I like it, but I don't have discerning taste where Danny McBride is concerned.

Okay, this past episode was funny.

No love for the latest episode? Thought it was hilarious.

I loved the whole graffiti scene and description of how it was not likely her c*nt cuz hers was not purple, etc.

It was weird to have hazing/rivalry stuff directed at the principal and for her not to catch on that it might be her people. Especially after her house burned down.

she seems to be dealing with a lot though.

Also loved that McBride scene where he now has the stalkerish nutjob from the fieldtrip giving him bj's and their whole awkward dynamic - sickening really.

Now they just need to string two good ones in a row and maybe we're going somewhere.

Agreed. That's two in a row that I've actually liked. The first two were miserable.

It's darker than I thought it would be - but this last episode pushed it a long way for me. It had the LOL scenes to balance the creepy/dark comedy.

None of my friends who made the jump from teaching to vice principalling have HBO, so I can't discuss this with them. I would love to hear some stories about the life of a principal. I work in a no-nonsense kinda play so I feel like I am missing out on the adult lifestyle of being around complete and total f ck-ups like Gambi and Lee Russell.

Yeah I said I would hang in a few more, so far that's paying off. I try not to entirely judge a show by its pilot, but this one was really bad, glad it found its way, hopefully it stays that way.

I agree. I'm not gleaming with love for it, but they've easily tied me in to finishing the season

Last 2 episode have been awesome. And I like that they have an end in sight and are only doing 2 seasons (18 episodes total). Shouldn't have a lull or down season like Eastbound & Down (which was still amazing overall).
