Best - Whataburger (only fast food burger I'll eat)

Worst - McDonalds. I haven't eaten at one in years but its disgusting and doesn't even taste like beef.

The problem with whataburger is consistency. Some places they're really good, others they are overcooked or the service is slow.

We're getting an In-and-Out here soon, but that double animal style thing gave me a heart attack just looking at the picture.

Possibly, but I consider pretty much any burger "fast food". A good burger can sometimes hit the spot in a pinch, but it's never high on my list of what I want to eat unless it is grilled at home.

Whataburger and Sonic are usually the only chains that I get burgers from. Occasionally, I will get a burger from Whataburger and then go to Jack in the Box to get the seasoned curly fries.

i travel all over Texas every week so i definitely enjoy trying new Burger places, especially local.

i think the high end is up to debate.

the low end should be nothing other than carl's jr and jack in the box with no debate. one time i was driving north out of edinburg and extremely hungry. saw a jack in the box on the last exit out of town and said... nah. i'll wait 2.5 hours.

It is what it is. I'll take a Western Bacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries over any McD's meal. And I tolerate McD's much better than most.

Anyone ever had White Castle? I'd never had it until I moved to the northeast. Tried it and they are EASILY the worst burgers I've ever had in my life. Not just fast food. ANY.

They are literally like frozen burgers that they heat up and put on a tray. Like the kind you get in the frozen food section of the grocery store.

Plus, the center of the buns was soggy and wet. Couldn't tell if the bread was raw.

This surprises me. I have been there twice and the burgers were really, really good. The onion rings sucked though.

I don't live in a state that has Whataburger or Braum's anymore, but Culver's is a decent fastfood burger. I usually get the kids meal and add all the vegetables. Gets me a free scoop of custard.
